Diploma in Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science, Adeyemi College of Education offers a diploma in computer science program. This program is geared towards empowering students who graduate from this program with the requisite knowledge to take on further studies in the field of computer science.

Program Duration

The diploma in computer science program is a 6-month program that runs for two semesters. 

Program Requirements

To apply for the diploma in computer science program, candidates must possess a minimum of secondary school leaving certificate with at least a credit in 5 subjects including Maths and English.

 

Certificate in Computer Science 

The Department of Computer Science, Adeyemi College of Education offers a certificate in computer science and a certificate in computer science program. This program is suitable for students who wish to get advanced knowledge on computer science.

Program Duration

The certificate in computer science program is a 3-month program that is completed in just one semester

Program Requirements

To apply for the certificate in computer science, candidates must possess a minimum of secondary school leaving certificate with at least a credit in 4 subjects including Maths and English.

Instructions to Apply

Click here to download the form, print and fill the form by accurately providing the information needed.

Pay the sum of #5,000 to remita account. Proceed to the Bursary Unit and change the remita payment printout to receipt

Submit the completed form and receipt to the department of computer science’s HOD office. 

Submission Deadline

Application form, payment receipt and all other supporting documents must be submitted to the office of the Head of Department, Computer Science on or before 15th September, 2022 

Program Fees

Students who enroll for the certificate in computer science are required to pay a sum of #30,000 which covers tuition and administrative charges while students that enroll for the diploma in computer science program are required to pay a sum of #45,000 which also covers tuition and administrative charges 

Program Start Date

The next batch of students admitted into the programs will commence lectures on 30th September, 2022.

Important information to all applicants

The program is highly practical oriented, as such, prospective applicants should be computer literate with at least minimum knowledge of basic computer use

The program is suitable for both working-class and students as it has been designed to hold on weekends
